我的想法如下(不一定正確，還請版友指教)
一、
這題的主要子句是中間那句
many of the coastline's lighthouses remain standing today
二、
而第一個逗號前的那句是"副詞字句"的省略(觀念來自旋元佑)
省略前的原句為:
"While it were built" in the late 1800's
因主詞it與主要子句相同
因而精簡該副詞子句，最後僅剩built
三、
第二個逗號後則為關係子句的減化，其先行詞是many of the coastline's lighthouses
省略前原句為
"which have" withstood the forces of nature for decades
不過一般來說，關係子句應該在先行詞之後，這題的句子隔的有點遠
原po會覺得答案應採用完成式，應是受最後的"for decades"影響
事實上也的確該用完成式，只是應該用在關係子句上，而非第一句的副詞子句
: 疑問： 答案給 A 請問用C的話 錯在哪 (本句動詞是哪個?)，如果這句用過去完成式表示的話要怎麼改寫?
: (因為這題我看到時間就一直往過去完成式想~導致沒時間作答= =)
