This computation will run much more slowly than a gcd procedure written in
Scheme, because we will simulate low-level machine instructions, such as
assign, by much more complex operations.

書上翻譯為:
因為我們是在模擬低級的機器指令, 例如 assign, 而使用的卻是
比他高級得多的操作。

譯文看不懂 ...

從 by much ... 這邊看不懂, 請問怎麼解釋這句話。

請問這版可以問這種翻譯問題嗎?
不知道標題要怎麼取才好。
