Dr. J. Mark Petrash, Professor and vice chair of research.
Job description:
Dr. Petrash’s lab looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral candidate
to join our visual sciences lab in. The lab used to focus on aldose reductase
and its complications in eye such as diabetic cataract, diabetic retinopathy,
uveitis and secondary cataract, etc.
The lab will support postdoc to attend national conferences such as ARVO
annually.
Profile requirements:
PhD in relevant fields is required and at least one first-author paper in a
peer-reviewed journal. Experience with animal study is a plus.
The candidate should have a strong interest in ophthalmology and visual
sciences‐related research and excellent collaborative skills with experimental
biologists.
