A postdoctoral position is available immediately at Singapore University of
Technology and Design (SUTD www.sutd.edu.sg).
The objective of this 3-year research project is to work on predictive
maintenance techniques that help to determine the condition of equipment in
order to predict when and what repairs should be performed. The candidate
should familiar with system degradation modelling, system failure prediction,
abnormal detection, transfer learning etc. The candidate should familiar with
machine learning, AI, big data analysis techniques. The research will be
conducted in closed collaboration with an industry partner, who manufactures
the equipment. Candidates with strong hands-on experience and strong
publication record in relevant areas are encouraged to apply.
