The Power System Research Laboratory (PSRL) at National University of Singapore (NUS) is looking for a postdoctoral researcher to investigate the cyber-physical stability of power distribution systems. The main task is to formulate new ways to evaluate the stability and security of networks consisting of microgrid clusters, distributed generations, and demand response services. This work will take a data analytical approach, building on the existing research in machine learning, statistical analysis, signal-processing, and behavioural science. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering or computer science. Expertise in computational behavioural science or signal-processing will be preferred. Past experience in power system operation and planning is also recommended. The salary is competitive and depends on the experience of the applicant. The successful candidate will be offered a contract of up to 2 years.
