Postdoctoral position available in Vascular Medicine/Physiology & Functional
Genomics
Postdoctoral Scholar position available immediately for highly motivated
candidates to join the Department of Medicine at University of Florida School
of Medicine. The focus of the lab is to understand the molecular mechanisms
by which vascular stiffness is increased in kidney disease and how stiffness
affects cell behavior and function.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. degree in biology or biochemistry
‧ Knowledge and experience with routine molecular biology tools is required
‧ At least one first author publication in a peer-reviewed publication or
that has been accepted/submitted for publication is required
‧ Must possess excellent writing and communication skills.
‧ Must have motivation and commitment to drive scientific projects.
