Astros have acquired RHP Mike Burrows as part of a three-team trade with Pittsbu
rgh Pirates and Tampa Bay Rays.

The deal went as follows:

- The Astros received RHP Mike Burrows from the Pirates.

- The Astros sent OF Jacob Melton and RHP Anderson Brito to Tampa Bay.

- The Pirates received infielder Brandon Lowe, OF Jake Mangum and LHP Mason Mont
gomery from Rays.

Astros have made one selection in the Major League portion of the Rule 5 draft t
oday, selecting RHP Roddery Munoz from the Triple A roster of the Cincinnati Red
s.
 
Astros also made two selections in the minor league portion of the Rule 5 Draft,
 selecting RHP Trey McLouglin from the Mets and outfielder Edwin Sanchez from th
e Dodgers.
 
Astros did not lose a player in the Major League portion of today’s draft but d
id lose one player in the minor league phase, as the Athletics selected RHP Abel
 Mercedes.

Astros have signed RHP Ryan Weiss to a one-year Major League contract that also
includes a club option for 2027.

Astros have outrighted OF Taylor Trammell and RHP Logan VanWey to Triple A Sugar
 Land. Trammell has the right to elect free agency.

Astros have tendered contracts to 11 of their arbitration-eligible players.
 
Those players are RHP Bryan Abreu, INF Nick Allen, RHP Hunter Brown, C Yainer Di
az, OF Jake Meyers, LHP Steven Okert, INF Isaac Paredes, SS Jeremy Pena, OF Jesu
s Sanchez, RHP Bennett Sousa, and RHP Hayden Wesneski.
 
Additionally, they have signed RHP Engel De Los Santos to a one-year contract fo
r the 2026 season and have signed OF Taylor Trammell to a one-year contract for
2026. Both players were also eligible for salary arbitration.
 
Lastly, IF Ramon Urias, who was designated for assignment on Tuesday, has offici
ally been non-tendered today.
 
Their 40-man roster remains full with 40 players.

ricio Dubon.

Astros have selected RHP Miguel Ullola to their 40-man roster.
 
In corresponding move, Astros have designated INF Ramon Urias for assignment.

Astros have added to Major League staff, naming Victor Rodriguez the Hitting Coa
ch, Anthony Iapoce the Assistant Hitting Coach and Dan Hennigan the Director of
Hitting and Offensive Coordinator.
 
Additionally, Astros have announced the promotion of Connor Huff to an Assistant
 General Manager position.

Astros have outrighted four players off 40-man roster: OF Kenedy Corona, RHP Lui
s Garcia, OF Chas McCormick and LHP John Rooney. All four players cleared waiver
s and are eligible for free agency.
 
Additionally, OF Pedro Leon was claimed off waivers by Baltimore.
 
Lastly, five players that had been on the 60-day Injured List at the end of the
season have been returned to the 40-man roster: RHP Ronel Blanco, OF Zach Dezenz
o, RHP Kaleb Ort, RHP Brandon Walter and RHP Hayden Wesneski.
