Agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Mandzukic

Mandzukic is now a player of Juventus, but he doesn't forget the year he
lived with Atlético: "It's been a pleasure for me to be a part of the team
and coincide with so many great players. I also want to thank the fans for
the special support I've received in each game."

Atlético de Madrid and Juventus FC have reached an agreement for the
transfer of Mario Mandzukic to the Italian club. This Monday, the Croatian
striker underwent the relevant medical examination at the Fornaca di Sessant
Clinic and then signed his new contract with the transalpine club.

Mario wanted to say goodbye to the Atlético family with a few words to show
his gratitude after living a great season wearing the red and white shirt: "I
want to thank all the teammates with whom I've shared a changing room in Atlé
tico, and also to the coaching staff and all the people who work for the
Club. It has been a pleasure for me to be part of the team and coincide with
so many great players during last season. I also want to thank all the fans
for the special support I have received in every game. It was incredible to
live that atmosphere. Now that it is confirmed that I'm going, I'm receiving
many affectionate messages from the fans. That means that I did my job well.
It’s time to tackle another challenge in a new League but I will always
support the Club and wherever they are, I will be another Atlético."

From Atlético de Madrid, we thank Mario Mandzukic the commitment he has
shown during this time and wish him the best of luck in this new phase he
begins in Turin.
