伊比利亞航空A359發動機失效回航產生隱憂
IB6252 紐約飛馬德里,起飛後到加拿大Halifax附近時,其中一顆發動機失效關車,
馬上轉降波士頓.

2018/7 才剛出廠,極度新鮮中...
現在有些人開始擔心RR發動機在787機型的問題,會傳染到A350嗎?

Iberia Airways makes emergency landing at Logan after engine issue

September 12, 2018 - Boston, MA. Passengers sleep this morning at Logan
Airport’s Terminal E while awaiting buses to take them to JFK airport, for a
flight back to Madrid after the plane they were flying in lost power in one
engine late last night and landed at Logan. The plane was scheduled for
Madrid.
Several dozen passengers forced off a late-night flight from New York City to
Madrid, Spain, by engine failure slept on cots at Logan International
Airport's Terminal E until buses could return them to the Big Apple this
morning.
Iberia Airlines Flight 6252, powered by two fuel-efficient Rolls-Royce
engines, departed John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City at
8:50 last night with 265 passengers and touched down in Boston without
incident at 11:59 p.m. after turning back off the coast of Nova Scotia.
No injuries were reported.
The Madrid-based airline launched the first of 16 French-built A350s only
last month to much fanfare. The Airbus that diverted to Logan was Iberia's
second A350 put into service. It was christened "Paco de Lucia" in honor of
the Spanish flamenco guitarist.

其實Trent 1000 問題與以前華航A333 發動機空中關車緣由有87%類似.
如就發動機重要組件過早損耗,本來engine compressor blades 是要2000 cycles
才需排檢,結果過早損耗/產生細微裂痕導致300 cycles就需定期檢查了

華航現在使用的GE CF6-80E1A4 當初也是葉片比預期壽命提早損耗斷裂
被CAA 從ETOPS 330 降至ETOPS 60. 那時也很慘烈就是了.

Trent XWB會不會也產生當初RR始料未及的問題,也只能wait and see.
