標題：Yanks' German placed on administrative Leave
The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball announced today that New York Yanke
es pitcher Domingo German has been placed on Administrative Leave under the Jo
int MLB-MLBPA Domestic Violence Policy. Per the policy, the initial period of
Administrative Leave may last up to seven days, barring an extension.
在MLB的家暴政策之下，棒球委員辦公室於今日宣佈將洋基投手荷曼放「行政假」
Major League Baseball’s Department of Investigations has commenced an invest
i
gation into the matter that led to his placement on Administrative Leave. MLB
will have no further comment until the investigation is complete.
MLB調查部門開始對這件事調查，而MLB表示在調查結束之前不會再做更多評論。
The Yankees issued a statement:
“We fully support all measures being undertaken by the Commissioner’s Office
pursuant to the Policy on Domestic Violence. We support this policy which rei
nforces that domestic violence has no place in our society and cannot be toler
ated. We have followed the lead of Major League Baseball and will continue to
provide our complete cooperation throughout the investigative process. We rese
rve any further comment until the investigation reaches its conclusion. All qu
estions
pertaining to this matter should be directed to the Office of the Commissioner
.”
洋基球團發表聲明：球團會配合MLB的家庭暴力政策與調查部門合作，也不會多做評論
大意：洋基投手荷曼因涉入家暴問題，並接受MLB調查部門調查，至少被放假七天直到調
查結束。
心得：洋基今年真的是100種球員不能比賽的原因呢......太懸了
