由於上季結束，有五位大聯盟裁判退休了
Joe West, Fieldin Culbreth, Kerwin Danley, Gerry Davis, Brian Gorman
所以大聯盟宣佈將從小聯盟拉上五位裁判
Ryan Additon, Sean Barber, John Libka, Ben May, Roberto Ortiz
其中Roberto Ortiz成為首位波多黎各出生的大聯盟裁判
