SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic -- Authorities are seeking at least five peopl
e in an armed robbery of the St. Louis Cardinals complex in the Dominican Republ
ic on Friday.

有至少五位的武裝歹徒在週五，闖入紅雀在多明尼加的棒球學校


Dominican Republic police spokesman Diego Pesqueira told The Associated Press th
e suspects bound and gagged a security guard and stole watches, rings, necklaces
 and other items from athletes and personnel.

多明尼加警方表示歹徒將一名保全綑綁(用保全的鞋帶)+塞住嘴巴

然後偷了手錶/戒指/項鍊等球員的物品


Pesqueira said the suspects used the guard's shoelaces to tie his wrists and ank
les together. No one was injured, and no shots were fired, he said.

但幸好無人受傷、也沒有人開槍


A statement from the Cardinals said baseball equipment was also stolen. Players
and staff at the complex were shaken, Cardinals president of baseball operations
 John Mozeliak said.

紅雀的聲明中也提到棒球器材也被偷走了


"This was scary on many fronts," Mozeliak said in the statement. The team will r
eassess its security at the complex immediately, he said.

他們會重新審視棒球學校的安全議題


Pesqueira said he did not have details of all the items stolen or their total va
lue because police are waiting for the baseball academy to provide a list of eve
rything taken.

警方仍在等待紅雀這邊整理失竊物品清單


The suspects have not been identified, Pesqueira said.

目前也尚未辨識出歹徒身分
