Ketel Marte Earns Extra $3M By Finishing Third In NL MVP Voting

Ketel Marte didn't win the National League MVP award, but had plenty of reason
to celebrate on Thursday.
響尾蛇隊球星Ketel Marte當然不是今年國聯的最有價值球員獎得主，不過，他還是有
充分的理由在這個禮拜慶祝。
Marte finished third in voting, behind unanimous winner Shohei Ohtani and
second-place finisher Francisco Lindor.
Marte這次在國聯MVP票選排名第三，僅次於全票通過的得主Ohtani（大谷翔平），
以及第二名-大都會的Lindor。
An incentive clause in his contract was triggered with the finish, bumping his
2025 base salary from $16 million to $19 million. He signed an extension with
the Arizona Diamondbacks back in 2022.
這次的投票結果使得他與響尾蛇在2022年簽下延長合約中，一項激勵條款獲得生效，
使他在明年的年薪可以從1千6百萬美金，提升到19M。
Marte's contract guaranteed a $2 million bump the next season following a fourth
-through-seventh place MVP finish, and a $3 million bump if he finished third
or higher.
Marte的這項MVP票選激勵條款細節如下：
如果獲得第4-7名—可加薪2百萬
如果獲得第3名或更高名次—可加薪3百萬
