While the sides are said to be making progress on at least the structure of a pr
oposed deal that’s expected to be for three years and include at least one opt 
out, there was no word by Wednesday that the sides have closed the substantial f
inancial hurdle that’s hung over these high-profile talks regarding the star fr
ee-agent first baseman.

And the Mets have let Alonso’s camp know they need a decision — and soon — on
 whether the two sides can do a deal as they want to make sure to leave themselv
es enough time and options to pivot elsewhere prior to spring training, The Post
 has learned. 

根據紐約郵報所知，大都會隊已告知Alonso陣營盡快做出決定，好讓球隊在春訓前有足夠的
時間以及選項去做其他補強





報導後面提到目前還有可能簽Alonso的球隊：巨人（但Alonso可能不想去，因為球場不利打
者）、天使，其他像水手、藍鳥跟紅襪跟他也有連結

大都會的內部選項則是Mark Vientos移防一壘，三壘啟用Acuna弟、Baty和Ronny Mauricio
的組合，等明年的一壘FA
