The Mets are working toward trying to finalize a deal with free agent
reliever Luke Weaver, a source told The Post

The Yankees were not part of the bidding to try to retain Weaver, according
to a source. The Mets will now have three former NYY closers on their roster:
Weaver, Devin Williams and Clay Holmes (who is currently in the Met rotation).
