Sometimes in baseball, a player has to take a step back before he can take a ste
p forward. Perhaps putting too much pressure on himself to get to the big league
s in 2015, Moya struggled with his move to Triple-A. The Tigers are hopeful the
lessons learned will help the powerful outfielder reach the highest level soon.

Moya still has as much raw pop as just about any prospect in baseball. Few doubt
 his ability to hit 30 homers annually if he's an everyday player, even with his
 difficulty in making contact. Moya will always rack up strikeouts and he spent
too much time in 2015 trying not to do so. He does need to improve his pitch rec
ognition and plate discipline, with the hopes that a healthy walk rate will help
 offset the swinging and missing. Moya runs well for a big man and his strong ar
m plays well in right field, where his power also could profile well.

Once thought to be the top prospect in the system, Moya needs to stop pressuring
 himself to perform as such. A little selectivity can go a long way as his power
 will play at any level and in any park if he can improve that aspect of his gam
e.

有時候在棒球場上，球員必須先退一步，才能再向前邁進一步。或許是因為給自己太大的壓
力、急著在2015年站上大聯盟，莫亞（Moya）在升上3A後表現掙扎。老虎隊仍然希望，他從
這段經驗中學到的教訓，能幫助這位火力十足的外野手很快登上最高殿堂。

莫亞依然擁有堪稱全棒球界頂尖新秀等級的原始長打火力。幾乎沒有人懷疑，只要他能成為
每天固定先發的球員，即便揮空率偏高，也具備每年敲出30支全壘打的能力。莫亞勢必會一
直累積不少三振，而他在2015年花了太多時間試圖「不要三振」，反而影響了表現。他確實
需要加強對球路的判斷與選球能力，希望能提升保送率，來彌補揮空與落空的問題。以他的
體型來說，莫亞跑動能力不差，強勁的臂力也很適合鎮守右外野，而他的長打火力在這個位
置同樣非常有價值。

曾經被視為體系內的頭號新秀，莫亞現在需要做的是停止給自己那樣的包袱與壓力。只要在
選球上多一點耐心與選擇性，就能帶來很大的改變；因為只要這個面向有所進步，他的力量
無論在哪個層級、哪座球場，都一定能發揮出來。
