n the bidding for Suárez, with a realistic path to a deal last week should the
Red Sox not dive in. But the Sox dived.

Discussions between the Sox and Boras took place throughout the day Tuesday. By
Wednesday, Jan. 14 — less than 96 hours after learning of Bregman’s departure
— the Sox found common ground with Suárez on a five-year, $130 million deal

紅襪與經紀人Boras在週二一整天都持續進行討論，到了 1 月 14 日（週三），也就是得知
Bregman離隊後不到 96 小時，紅襪便與Ranger Suarez達成共識，簽下一紙為期 5 年、總
