Research Assistant Positions (Masters/Bachelors Level)
at Chang Gung University
Research Assistant positions are open in the Laboratory of Prof. Sebastian D.
Fugmann in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at Chang Gung University
(http://ls.cgu.edu.tw/files/11-1038-5045.php). The main research interests
of my research group are antibody biology and the evolution of immunity, and
we are using a broad range of molecular biology, biochemistry, and
tissue-culture techniques to address important questions in these areas.
The job responsibilities are to perform experiments, to organize and keep
laboratory supplies and equipment in good condition, and to independently
handle administrative tasks (including ordering and interactions with other
university offices).
Required qualifications are a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Biological
Sciences (or related areas), and the ability to communicate efficiently in
both, Chinese and English. Applicants should be well-organized,
detail-oriented, proactive, and work efficiently in a team. Hands-on
experience in molecular/cell biology or biochemistry is desired (but not
required).
