Post-doctoral position in the field of RNA silencing in fungi 一名
The primary focus of this research project will be to use RNA interference
to controlmycotoxin production in fungi of agronomic importance and to further
characterize at the molecular level double stranded RNA (dsRNA)-mediated
posttranscriptional gene silencing processes, including dsRNA uptake in fungi.
Post-doctoral Bioinformatics position in RNAseq and fungal Transcriptomics 一名
The lab primarily studies the molecular mechanisms of fungal pathogenesis on
plants with an emphasis on characterizing bioinformatically and by wet lab
analysis critical molecular and cellular functions required for virulence.
As part of our studies we use a systems-level approach that integrates
genome-wide transcriptome profiling (deep RNAseq), mass spectrometry- based
targeted proteomics, and functional analysis of selective gene candidates to
study the epigenetic mechanisms that control gene expression and
transcriptome diversity of virulence associated genes in fungi.

Post-doctoral position in the field of RNA silencing in fungi 一名
Highly motivated candidates should have recently received a Ph.D. in
molecular biology, biochemistry, molecular plant pathology, or a related
discipline. A strong and proven record of scientific accomplishment by
peer-reviewed publications as well as experience in RNA techniques is a must
for this position, while previous working experience with fungi is considered
a plus.
Post-doctoral Bioinformatics position in RNAseq and fungal Transcriptomics 一名
Highly motivated candidates should have received recently a Ph.D. in
bioinformatics, computational biology or related fields. A strong and proven
record of scientific accomplishment by peer-reviewed publications as well as
experience in analyzing high- throughput omics data, particularly genome-wide
RNAseq and mass-spec data is a must for this position. Candidates should also
be proficient in at least one of the common programming languages used in
bioinformatics (C,C++, Java etc.) and have excellent verbal and written
communication skills. Participation in the preparation of research grant
applications and reports is also expected.
