【工作內容】

The research focus in the Wu/Hung Lab broadly encapsulates areas of
immunology and immunotherapy. The historical focus of the lab is in
understanding the molecular mechanisms of Human Papilloma Virus infection with
the goal of guiding development of new prophylactic and therapeutic vaccines.
The lab has a large focus in cancer immunology and immunotherapy development.
Specifically, we are working to engineer and test novel biologic
immunotherapies and fusion proteins with tumor targeting properties. The
targeted mechanism of action for these novel therapies is to reverse the
immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment and drive anti-tumor immunity. The
lab develops and utilizes new spontaneous models of cancer to test the
efficacy of
these interventions.

【徵才條件】

Highly motivated candidates with a Ph.D. or equivalent degree are
encouraged to apply. A strong background in immunology and record of
accomplishment (first-author publications) is required. Proficiency in
classical immunologic and molecular biology techniques including primary cell
culture, rodent handling, cloning, ELISA, and multi-parameter flow cytometry
are needed for success in this position.
In addition, a candidate with excellent communication skills, ability to
fluently speak English, and scientific writing abilities are required. The
candidate must be able to work independently and collaboratively within a
larger research team. The candidate must have excellent analytical skills, be
creative, be able to learn and troubleshoot new techniques, maintain accurate
records, and have excellent interpersonal skills.


【薪資待遇】Based on the regulation of Johns Hopkins
            (~48000 USD first year)
