You may be all for compromising with a difficult individual to accomplish a
shared goal. But no matter how far you go in your attempt, and no matter how
flexible you are, this person might still resist. There is more to this than
the task at hand, Moonchild, and you will have to get to the bottom of it
before a compromise can be achieved. Find out if there is anger or resentment
at the root of the problem, and try to resolve it amicably. Once you show a
willingness to listen and to be open to this person's way of thinking, you
should surely start seeing progress.
