You may be trying to apply complicated theories to a simple problem. But
it still doesn't make much sense. This really is a straightforward
situation, Moonchild, even if it seems murky when you think about it. But
you do have a strong command of logic, and if you apply what you already
know to a problem you are facing, the puzzle pieces will all start to fall
into place. If it helps, walk away from it for a day or two, then come
back and take a fresh look. It will be easier to decipher with a fresh
look if you find yourself stuck.
