A Pollyanna is defined as an excessively cheerful or optimistic person.
This trait is often viewed as naive, irresponsible, or negative in some
other way. Yet what is so wrong with being very cheerful or optimistic?
Most of the time, it's actually a really good thing. Someone may not be
able to see the potential you see in a new venture, dear Cancer, and they
might imply that you are acting like a Pollyanna. Good for you! Keep
thinking cheerfully and optimistically, and you'll show them what you can
do!
