[閒聊] 紅鳥特派記者 Mark Saxon線上問答

小弟的朋友昨天突然問我

"有什麼問題要問紅雀特派記者的?"

原來他要去Mark Saxon的Live Q&A 提問

有鑑於Mabry的問題應該被百萬紅鳥迷問到爛了

所以我決定問點別的

我跟我朋友說我想問因為近幾年紅雀在亞洲簽的球員都蠻成功的(老吳、蜥蜴王)

那麼他對於台灣球員這塊的看法如何? (鄉民特別關心的柏融大王)

結果他也不知道XDD 但記者大大也是很有誠意了 他很多問題都沒回

Q:Hi,Mark,I really appreciate your work cover Cardinals.The signing of Mikolas

has been a huge success so far. A good friend of mine lives in Taiwan and he is

a diehard Cardinals fan. He is wondering if the Cardinals regularly scout the

players there. For instance, Po-Jung Wang will be a free agent after this

season, and I know the Dodgers,Phillies and Reds have scouted him.


A:Grear question.I'll ask when I have a chance.They are quite active in

scouting Japan now,of course.Once upon a time,they would send a scout for one

trip a year to Japan.Now they regularly travel there.I just am not sure how

much they are devoting to other East Asian countries,but it's a fascinating

question.As is Brazil,the Bahamas,other areas like where teams have

occasionally found hidden gems.
