New Cleveland Cavaliers head coach John Beilein is taking over a rebuilding te
am, which allows for a certain amount of freedom when it comes to sketching ou
t possible lineups.

新的克利夫蘭騎士隊主教練Beilein正在接管一支重建隊，這在草擬可能的陣容時具有一
定的自由度。

One new report indicates that Beilein is considering using guard Jordan Clarks
on as a small forward during the 2019-20 season.

 一份報導指出，Beilein正在考慮在2019-20賽季期間使用後衛Jordan Clarkson作為小前

The 27-year-old Clarkson is coming off the best year of his five-year NBA care
er, which has previously been spent in the backcourt. During the 2018-19 campa
ign, he averaged 16.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game, coming of
f the bench for the Cavs.

現年27歲的Clarkson正在經歷他五年NBA生涯中最好的一年，此前他都待在後場。在2018-
19賽季期間，他場均貢獻16.8分，3.3個籃板和2.4次助攻，在騎士的板凳區效力。

One drawback to Beilein’s possible implementation of this idea is obvious. At
 6-foot-5, Clarkson’s size might not offer much help on the rebounding front.
 During his previous five seasons, Clarkson’s highest average rebounds per ga
me came during the 2015-16 campaign when he hauled down 4.0 per contest.

 Beilein可能會實施此想法的一個缺點很明顯。 身高6呎5，Clarkson的身材可能不會在

However, Clarkson would be able to provide some instant offense, while also al
lowing Beilein to find playing time for the team’s four young guards. In the
latter case, all four have been first-round draft picks within the past two ye
ars, making them obvious building blocks for the future.

Clarkson’s own future with the Cavaliers may be on borrowed time, since he ca
n become an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season. He’s scheduled
 to make $13.4 million for the 2019-20 campaign and is no doubt seeking a stee
p increase when he’s scheduled to become a free agent next July.

sion in the next few months, it seems likely that he’ll be traded. That will
officially put an end to Beilein’s experiment, assuming he moves ahead with t
he plan.
