Frustrated by two straight blowout losses last week, the Boston Celtics held
a players-only meeting to remind each other of the need to compete all the
time.

在經歷連兩場大比分失利的挫敗後，C's內部召開了一次球員會議來提醒自己必須整場
保持競爭力。

Marcus Smart indicated Boston players gathered together for some introspection
the day after a 118-93 loss to the Washington Wizards. During their previous
game, the Celtics had gotten punished by the Denver Nuggets.

Smart表示C's球員在慘給巫師的隔天，聚集在一起反省這段時間的失利。

"We talked about how losing by 30 or 20 isn't the way the Celtics play,"
Smart said Wednesday night after a 90-83 win against the Dallas Mavericks.
"We had to come back and look at ourselves in the mirror. Everyone said what
they thought was going on and we had to be true to ourselves."

Since the meeting, Boston is 3-1 with the NBA's No. 2-ranked defense over
that span. While it's clear the team's attention to detail has improved, the
schedule has also done the Celtics some favors. They met the New York Knicks,
who lost Carmelo Anthony to a first-half ejection; the Indiana Pacers, who
were missing Paul George; the New Orleans Pelicans, one of the NBA's worst
teams; and the Dallas Mavericks, who dropped to 2-8 after falling to the
Celtics.

那次會議之後球隊取得三勝一負的佳績。雖然球隊在比賽細節有改善，但也多少受益於
賽程的安排。

A last-second loss to New Orleans hurt, but the 6-5 Celtics have still
survived a long stretch without injured starters Jae Crowder and Al Horford.
Boston's win against the Mavericks didn't always involve beautiful
basketball, but Avery Bradley appreciated his team's effort.

雖然在最後一秒敗給了鵜鶘，但C's終究以6勝5敗的戰績挺過這段沒有Crowder跟Horford
的日子。雖然對小牛這場不是贏得很漂亮，但Bradley仍讚賞球隊的表現。

"Tonight I feel like was one of our best defensive games," Bradley said. "We
had our lapses sometimes, but for the most part we were talking and helping.
That's good for our team."

"感覺今天是我們防守得最棒的比賽之一。"Bradley表示
"雖然也有鬆懈的時候，但大多數時間我們都在互相交流與幫助。這樣對球隊很好"

About the message delivered at the meeting, Bradley said, "Just that we need 
to hold each other accountable. We weren't playing to our ability. Some guys,
two or three guys were playing harder on the defensive end, but the other 
three guys weren't. We needed everyone playing hard consistently as a team."

談到那次會議所表達的訊息,AB表示:"就是我們得對彼此負責。我們沒打出自己的水準。"
"場上只有兩三個人在防守端努力。作為一個團隊，我們需要每個人都在努力防守才行。"

看得出來球隊最近有把皮繃緊一點了

不過戰績回溫感覺是受益於賽程的關係，週末的B2B才會見真章...

還是希望Al跟Jae早日回歸啦
