Chelsea confirm arrival of Charlie Brown who makes debut for academy team

Chelsea have confirmed the arrival of talented young forward Charlie Brown
from Ipswich Town, with the youngster making his debut in a pre-season
friendly against Bayern Munich.
Brown has been with Ipswich since the U10 age group and last season he
made a couple of appearances for the U21s, highlighting his promise. The
striker had been expected to begin a two-year scholarship with Ipswich,
with the idea of progressing into the first team like Teddy Bishop.
However, Chelsea's website today confirmed that he had joined the club and
will be part of Jody Morris' U18 squad for the season, and he made his
debut against Bayern, which the Blues drew 1-1.
