Ghanaian international winger Christian Atsu has joined Newcastle on loan
for the rest of the 2016/17 season.
The 24-year-old, who signed for the Blues three years ago, heads to St
James' Park to aid the Magpies' promotion hopes under Rafa Benitez
following last season's relegation to the Championship.
Atsu was named the Player of the Tournament at the 2015 Africa Cup of
Nations, as well as scoring the Goal of the Tournament, and he will be
looking to secure a place in the squad for the 2017 edition in Gabon with
his form in the north-east.
