Fikayo Tomori has today joined Brighton & Hove Albion on loan until the
end of the season. Tomori moves to the AMEX Stadium for his first spell
away from Stamford Bridge.
The 19-year-old, who can play in central defence or at right-back, was
part of our Academy teams which won the FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League
in both 2014/15 and 2015/16.
Tomori also won the Chelsea Academy Player of the Year award last season
following a string of impressive performances, making his debut for the
first team on the final day of last season in a 1-1 draw against Leicester
City.
Brighton are currently second in the Championship, just one point behind
leaders Newcastle United.
