Chelsea dismiss claims of legal action from Diego Costa's lawyer as 'nonsense'

Chelsea have dismissed striker Diego Costa's chances of bringing legal
action against the club over his treatment at Stamford Bridge. Standard
Sport understands that the club have been left bemused by comments from
Costa's lawyer Ricardo Cardoso, who has accused Chelsea of trying to force
the striker out.
俱樂部對科斯塔方聲稱要動用法律途徑的說法感到困惑。
Costa claimed that he was informed in June he was no longer wanted at
Chelsea by coach Antonio Conte via text message. However, the Chelsea boss
said last month that wasn't the case, insisting that the 28-year-old and
his agent Jorge Mendes was told in January.
科斯塔宣稱兩個月前遭到孔蒂簡訊宣判，但其實一月時他就知道自己的命運了。
When asked by Standard Sport today about Cardoso's comments, Conte said he
remained mystified and said: "For me it is very simple. The situation is
the same as what I said in the past: the player, his agent and the club
knew very well the future of the player. For sure I don't understand why
the lawyer is getting involved because the situation is very clear."
旗幟晚報問了孔蒂關於科斯塔律師的說法，孔蒂回應： "情況很簡單，就跟我之前的
說法一樣，他的經紀人和俱樂部早就知道他的未來，所以我不太了解律師跑進來摻一
腳是怎樣。"
When pressed if Costa, who wants a transfer back to Atletico Madrid, is
proving a distraction to his job now, he added: "No, this is in the past."
在被問到科斯塔現在是否讓孔蒂分心，回應是： "不，都過去了。"
Cardoso stunned the club on Thursday by saying: 'We are going to use all
possible legal mechanisms to hold Chelsea responsible for their behaviour,
making possible the departure of Diego Costa."
科斯塔的律師昨天說： "我們要動用一切法律途徑讓卻爾西付出代價+讓科斯塔離隊。"
But club spokesman Steve Atkins added: "The premise the lawyer has put
forward is just wrong. The decision on Diego was made back in January. The
player knew the decision, his agent knew the decision, clearly the lawyer
has not been well informed. The lawyer's argument that Antonio as a coach
has forced the player out by text message in June is just nonsense."
面對科斯塔律師的法律聲稱，俱樂部發言人阿特金斯表示： "律師講的完全錯誤，我
們對科斯塔前途的決定在一月時就做出了，球員和經紀人也知道這個決定，很明顯該
律師不知詳情，所以他聲稱的科斯塔被孔蒂用簡訊驅逐完全是胡說八道。"
"We'll just have to see what the window brings."
"接下來我們要看看轉會窗口的發展。"
AC Milan have also been in talks with Mendes over a possible transfer even
though Costa wants to go back to Atletico. The La Liga club can't register
any new players until January and have yet to come close to Chelsea's
￡50m asking price.
雖然科斯塔想回的是馬競，但AC米蘭已和門德斯接觸過。而目前馬競到一月前都不能
簽人，跟卻爾西的5000萬英鎊要求也相距甚遠。
