Thiago Silva is expected to complete a move to Chelsea after playing his
final game for Paris Saint-Germain. Silva is expected to agree to a
significant cut in his wages – he has been earning ￡1.3m a month as PSG
captain – but is determined to play in the Premier League before the end
of his career.

Thiago Silva to SkySport: “I've not accepted any bid. Reports of
agreement reached with Fiorentina are NOT true. My agent is talking with
Fiorentina as with other clubs. I'll decide on next days with my family”.
