Following the Champions League final, Chelsea Football Club has exercised
an option to extend Thiago Silva's contract by one year, taking his time
at Stamford Bridge into a second season.
歐冠決賽結束後，切爾西俱樂部決定觸發蒂亞戈˙席爾瓦的合同延長一年，讓他迎來
在斯坦福橋效力的第二個賽季。

The Brazilian's first Chelsea campaign could scarcely have gone much
better. A composed and classy influence in the heart of our defence from
the moment he arrived on a free transfer from PSG, Thiago Silva featured
34 times in all competitions and scored twice.
蒂亞戈˙席爾瓦在切爾西迎來了第一個非常圓滿的賽季，從巴黎聖日耳曼自由轉會加

Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia said: 'When we brought Thiago Silva in
last summer, we knew we were adding a world-class player to the squad.
Thiago has duly shown everyone at Chelsea his immense quality throughout

While injury cut short the Brazilian's time on the pitch in Porto in the
Champions League final, he was still able to celebrate his maiden triumph
in the competition at the age of 36, and his professionalism and
commitment to the cause throughout his first year at the club has already
made him a popular figure with the Blues faithful.
雖然傷病影響了蒂亞戈˙席爾瓦在歐冠決賽中的出場時間，但現在36歲的他仍然可以

Thiago Silva's new deal will run until the end of the 2021/22 season, when
Chelsea will be looking to defend our European crown as well as challenge
for domestic honours. Thiago Silva's experience will be vital on both
