A Pensacola man was arrested Friday after an investigation determined he paid
a 17-year-old male to allow him to perform oral sex on him.
Aramis Gershawn Betts, 25, of the 2001 block of Morningside Drive was charged
with sexual assault, obscene communication, traveling to meet a minor, and
unlawful use of a two-way communication device.
The News Journal has confirmed that Betts is a pastor at St. John Divine
Missionary Baptist Church in Milton.
