In constrast to the classical Marxist notion that the workers are deprived of
means, everyone today owns the means of production him- or herself.
"The neoliberal system is no longer a class system in the proper sense. It
does not consist of classes that display mutual antagnonsim.
This is what accounts for the system's stability. Today, everyone is an
auto-exploiting labourer in his or her own enterprise.
People are now master and slave in one . . . the I is now subjugating
itself to internal limitations and self-constraints, which are taking the form
of compulsive achievement and optimization."

卡夫卡的著作超出了權力的重重迷宮和條條死路，
超出了那歪曲人、分割人的等級結構和官僚主義統治，
並由此提出了那本身無過錯卻被判有罪的人的身分（或同一性）這一問題、
提出了存在權這一問題、
提出了存在這一歷險中所發生者本身的無辜性這一問題。
