When you think carefully about it, what is it that we truly pursue in life?
Is it money, love, or family? In fact, it's none of these; it's leaving a
mark in history. To have one's name and deeds remembered in human history,
for future generations to know about. AKB48 has hundreds of members, and
though only a dozen or so become household names, the rest remain obscure.
Many believe these girls have gambled and lost, trading their youth for
nothing, and that they would have been better off studying hard to secure a
stable job. However, at least they have made their mark in history. Their
names and various activities, TV appearances, and media are all recorded and
will not be forgotten by search engines or Wikipedia. But who am I? What have
I done? And who knows about it?
