這回改編的迷你劇是重現書中時代背景設定的古裝劇，講述Marquise de Merteuil與
Vicomte de Valmont之間，在革命前夕的一段夾雜了愛、恨、陰謀與背叛的故事。
Alice Englert與Nicholas Denton兩人分飾故事中惡名昭彰的兩位主角Marquise與Vicomte
，Camille則由Lesley Manville飾演。
其他的主要演員包括Kosar Ali、Carice Van Houten、Hilton Pelser、Fisayo Akinade、
Michael McElhatton、Nathanael Saleh、Colette Dalal Tchantcho、Hakeem Kae-Kazim
