[請益] pull a Farragut

想請問pull a Farragut這句偶爾會看到的俚語的正確翻法

我自己覺得是一意孤行，或是不顧一切之類的
但是不太肯定。

似乎不是很常見的用法就是了
網路上google出來也不多

另外提供一下原本的歷史淵源
David Farragut 是個美國內戰時期的海軍軍官，
以他指揮北軍戰艦布魯克林號時傳說中的發言 "Damn the torpedoes"留名於世
隨著流傳下來變成 "Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead!"
中文應該是 "去他的魚(水)雷，全速前進! "
