[文法] 假設語氣

[ppu12372 (高能兒)]

在書上看到一題是這樣子的

If David _______, the children would not be playing like this.

A)had taught       B)were teaching

C)should teach     D)would teach


答案是 B)were teaching  所以他的意思是 要用 If+S.+were 與現在事實相反嗎?

可是我選 A)had taught  想說因為David 過去沒有教導children
導致children playing like this

感覺很ok呀,為什麼A選項不對??

可是我有在書上看到一種句型

叫做[過去的假設影響到現在的結果]
結構是:
                          could
If+S.+had+p.p., (then) S+ might  +原形動詞
                          should
                          would

所以選a的話不是也符合此種句型嗎??


還是說此種句型後面即使進行式的Be動詞使用原型be依然不符合
不能用進行式,一定要原型動詞才符合??
