在一本書中看到:
Raymond Steele is finishing a long, hard day at the office.
He's checking with his secretary to make sure that
everything is finished for the day, and then he can head
out for some relaxation.
Steele : Stella. can you come into my office for a moment?
Stella : Yes, Mr. Steele ... what do you need. sir?
Steele : I just want to check and see if all of today's
business is finished. Did you send out those orders ?
Stella : Yes, sir. I also returned all of the pressing call and finished
typing the brief for tomorrow's meeting.
Steele : And did you call my wife?
Stella : Yes, sir. I told her that you wouldn't make it
home for dinner because you plan to play a little
golf with the boys.
請問上面Stella回答Steel先生說她有跟他老婆講說他打算下班後打一下高爾夫球。 為何
用現在式you plan 不是用過去式 you planed?
前半句她用的wouldn’t make 但後來怎會改成plan卻不用planed??
她說: You wouldn’t make it home for dinner because you plan to play a little
golf with the boys.
謝謝
Steele : Good. Stella. And
where are my golf clubs ?
