[求譯] 一些英文翻譯問題

有幾個翻譯問題想請大家幫我看一下，謝謝。

1.原文是
 Because I was admitted with “sophomore standing,” I graduated in 1963,
after three years of Harvard, but am considered to be a member of the
 class of 1964, which is the class that I entered Harvard with.

我的翻譯是：
(1960年時進入哈佛大學就讀)但是因為我當時是以相當於二年級的資格(sophomore
standing)入學，因此我3年後，也就是1963年就畢業了。綠色的部分我看不太懂，
是指他想要跟1964年的班一起畢業的意思嗎？

2.At the beginning I worked with quite a few Ph.D. students who were
approximately the same age as me, who were just finishing up. I also worked
with new Ph.D. students coming in, among them, for example,
Richard.

我不太清楚他前面指的是剛完成碩士的新進入博班的學生，
還是指剛博士班畢業的學生?而後面Richard的部分應該是指即將進入博士班就讀的學生吧?
另外among them是指什麼呢?
