在文法書上有讀到這一句: whose N = the N of which I like this book, the contents of which are fascinating. 於是想請教 whose N = the N of whom 這樣的句子正確否? I like John, the father of whom is a doctor. 唯代替物時 whose + n = the n of which" 換言之,這本書沒提到是否 whose + n = the n of whom 網路上有看見有人說到 whose + n = the n of whom 這樣的文法 而我用google查詢時,發現以下例句: 1. Her slave girl gave birth to a son, the father of whom is Jacob her own husband 2. In May, 1997, Kent, Washington, elementary school teacher Mary Kay LeTourneau, 35, gave birth to a baby girl, the father of whom is one of her sixth-graders. 3. The cause of this quarrel was undoubtedly a child, the father of whom is said to be Louis Kircher.
