不定詞當形容詞與當副詞要如何分辨?
書上說:
She felt a desire to eat a hamburger.
此處的to have a hamburger是當形容詞片語，要放在所修飾的名詞之後，
如本句的a desire 之後
a desire to eat a hamburger 表示”有個想吃漢堡的渴望”
而to V 不定詞也可以表目的”為了…” 且to V 可改成in order to V，
可放句首或句尾，如:
1. People invent new things to meet their needs.
2. To meet their needs, people invent new things.
3. People invent new things in order to meet their needs.
4. In order to meet their needs, people invent new things.
表示”為了滿足自己的需求＂人們常常會發明新東西。
那下面的不定詞 是當形容詞還是副詞表目的呢?
A. Professor Wang has invented the most effective drugs to treat flu.
B. Professor Wang has invented many effective drugs to treat flu.
C. The doctor gave the patient some drugs to reduce the pain.
D. Hw wrote a new song to entertain the public.
E. People build machines to work for them.
