我在懷疑是不是我看錯了
但我的文章的確是這樣寫的：
Children, like adults, need time to be alone to think,
to muse, to read freely, to daydream, to be creative,
and to form a self independent of the barrage of mass culture.

independent 是 形容詞 字典查無名詞用法
那怎麼能當動詞 form 的受詞
後面又怎麼可能加 of
