標題[請益] 請問兩個簡單文法題

wouldn’t be conned.
if a person thought clearly that something valuable was by no means to sell
at such a low price and was able to control his desire, they wouldn't be
conned.
如果想清楚貴重物品是絕不可能以如此低價賣出，而且可以控制自己的慾望，就
不會受騙。
請問to sell 那邊是不是應該要改成to be sold 才對呢？
另一題是：
The same thing, _____, would have been disastrous.
A)had it happened in crowded places
B)if happened in crowded places
C)if had happened in crowded places
D)if has happened in crowded places
為什麼答案是A呢？？有請指教。
