第一題，其實不改to sell也可以，因為sell這個字即使以物體為主詞，也常當主動。
第二題，題目的句子有移了一下位置，原句應該是：
Had it happened in crowded places, the same thing would have been disastrous.
= If it had happened in crowded places, the same thing would have been
disastrous.
上句把had移到句首，把if刪除，是假設法的倒裝句技巧之一。這部分可以去看文法書來
進一步了解相關句型。
至於下面的選項，因為都缺少一個主詞 it，因此不能選，如果選項C補上it其實也是對的
答案。

(C)if had happened in crowded places
(D)if has happened in crowded places
