這裡的 what 等於 the thing that。
所以我的主詞是「做的事」(the thing)以符合文意。
使用 that he did was to sell his flat and...
這樣是把 that he did 名詞子句當主詞，也許文法可通，
但文意不通，變成：「他做事」是賣掉他的公寓以及...
