跪求板內高手還原以下兩個句子：
1. In an attempt to improve relations with his subordinates and better understand their abilities, the boss will talk with everyone himself.
2. Attached to this letter is a pre-addressed, stamped envelope in which to place your application for membership to our club.
這兩個句子是多益題本的句子，答案選對也知道中文意思，但還是沒辦法完全看懂兩句句構
