[文法] 這段話在講啥? 時態有問題嗎?

高中教師手冊看到:

2 完成式用在before子句時，凸顯了某事完成的時間點，例：

Elvis comes before I’ve finished the phone call.

Q1.:

請問何謂"凸顯了某事完成的時間點"?  這句話何意思? "某事"是指哪件事?



Q2:

Elvis comes before I’ve finished the phone call.

這句話想表達的意思是不是"Elivis在我講完電話之前就來了。"??

如果是的話，那這句話的時態是不是有點問題?

因為上面這句話不應該是要講給第三者聽，且應該是屬於

"以經發生過的事情，也就是過去的事情" 應該是要用過去式跟過去完成

Elvis came before I had fished the phone call. 比較合理呢?

因為如果不適已經發生了的事情的話 那如何得知他會在我電話沒講完之前就到了?? 這應該事已經發生過事情 所以我才會想把他講給第三者聽

但是 Elvis came before I had finsiehd the phone call. 好像也不太對

因為 came應該是在講完電話(had fished the phone call"ˋ 前所發生的

所以這句話是不是應該講成"Elivis had came before I finished the phone call?


不知道大家的看法為何?

改為 Elvis had come before I finished the phone call. 為對，
