[文法] insist後的子句一定有省略掉的should嗎

小時候在國外念書，回台灣後的升學考試都憑語感居多，沒認真學過文法，

現在想穩穩地來過一次，沒想到一下就遇到問題了...

附圖內的第八題，我選B，

但理由是 ...that the project's long-term effects 是複數，所以後面接have，

覺得 insist... that S (should) V 翻譯起來很卡，

「環境學者主張那個計畫對野生動物的長期影響『應該要』尚未被充分研究。」



這本書前面有提到像insist這類的動詞，

若沒有「應該要...」的意思，後面就用ㄧ般時態，

eg. Are you suggesting that I'm a liar?

推 vincentman: suggest當暗示用的時候，後面that子句中動詞不需原形

那請問題目insist裡的should呢？

一直以來都憑語感判斷，一時之間多了好多名詞好混亂啊...

→ jtmh: 例句是：My family insisted that I should not give in,
→ jtmh: but stay and fight.
→ jtmh: 2. If you insist that something is the case, you say so
→ jtmh: very firmly and refuse to say otherwise, even though
→ jtmh: other people do not believe you.
→ jtmh: 例句是：The president insisted that he was acting out of
→ jtmh: compassion, not political opportunism.
