[]裡的是老師要我們改的地方(但他不給答案......)，
第二個句子是我改的答案，希望大家可以幫我訂正一下> <

→ 這句我查了好久還是不知道為什麼錯，不會是要改成had left吧??

→ Only when we lose our health, [that we understand] how important good health
is.


4. I took a taxi, [and which took me] straight home.

→ I took a taxi, [which took me] straight home.


5. The big noise outside [made me cannot] concentrate on my work.

→ The big noise outside [made me unable to] concentrate on my work.


6. Since Jennie earned a great bonus, she rented a nicer apartment and bought
some new furniture, ____ she was lonely because her friends had drifted away.

請問填still/yet是正確的嗎？有更好的選擇嗎？


另外想請教這句的意思：
Once ____ by many high school students throughout the English-speaking world,
Shakespeare's plays have taken on a new dimension thanks to the creative
forces of film.
(A) fearing   (B) to be feared   (C) feared   (D) fear

(我選C)

曾令全英語世界高中生懼怕的莎士比亞劇作，因為影業的創造力而達到了新的層次。

不知道我對這句的理解有沒有錯得離譜Q Q

→ vincentman: 寫法一：He left Shanghai long time ago.
